Kristina Laco re-elected to the Management Board of HURA

Kristina Laco has been re-elected as a member of the Management Board of the Croatian Association of Communications Agencies (HURA), where she will continue to contribute to the leading professional association in the market communications sector in Croatia for the next four years. Previously, the board was led by Angela Buljan Šiber, and now the leadership will again be taken over by a woman, Jelena Fiškuš, the most awarded domestic creative director from Studio Sonda. Alongside Kristina Laco and Jelena Fiškuš, the newly elected board includes Rajna Cuculić from the global media agency GroupM, Mario Frančešević, the founder of SeekandHit, and Marko Šesnić, an award-winning designer from Studio Šesnić&Turković.

Today, compared to the start of the current board’s term under Angela Buljan Šiber, HURA has 60% more member agencies, which last year collectively exceeded total revenues of 300 million euros for the first time. These 60 member agencies represent over 80% of the Croatian agency communication market. During the last board’s tenure, HURA also became the holder of the IAB (Interactive Advertising Bureau) license and gathered more than 90 member companies in IAB Croatia in less than two years. HURA organizes the national market communication festival “Dani Komunikacija” and related competitions Effie, IdejaX, MIXX, and Young Lions, runs the HOWtoWOW marketing academy, as well as organizes the regional advertising agency competition BalCannes. The Association also regularly organizes educational activities, continuously striving to improve market conditions and advance the industry as a whole.
